2007 Camry Steering Wheel Audio Controls not working
I have a 07 Camry with a factory in-dash DVD player. The controls on the steering wheel stopped working a few months ago and I can't figure out why. I can't find the fuse on the manual that controlls it either. I went to the dealership and they said they charge $125 just to look into the problem!!! Any advise??????

Okay i see the misunderstanding. The Navigation system on the factory system uses both Satellite info and a map programmed into a DVD. It will not play DVD movies. If you're does- then you have an aftermarket unit that may not be compatible with the steering controls. I don't believe there is a separate fuse for the steering wheel controls.

I have exactly the same problem!
@Greelight, Joel_CA was right, it's a factory fitted DVD palyer. It was fitted after sales.
I'm experiencing the same problem right now. I just noticed that my steering control stopped working. Then I remembered that I had messed around with the steering controls settings earlier. I navigated back there tru menu > settings > steering settings. I didnt exactly understand the settings there but I tried some trial and error adjustments with no luck! and unfortunately, mine didnt come with an instruction manual.
Pls if anyone out there has the manual or has any idea how to fix this problem, I will be super grateful if he/she can share it in this forum.
Tnx

@Greelight, I just fixed mine and here's how I did it:
Go to menu ---> settings ---> steering settings
In steering settings, touch the WHEEL button repeatedly until it changes from Toyota, ford, mitsubishi, mazda etc to USER. On this USER page, you will find MODE, MUTE, VOL+, VOL-,<< and >> buttons on the screen. Now, on your steering wheel, press and hold any of the buttons and then touch the button you want to assign to it on the screen. Repeat this process for all the buttons on your steering wheel. When you are done, touch the SAVE button on the screen and the exit.
That should fix it. Let me know if it did.
