2007 LE alarm question.

2007 LE alarm question.
Hello,
Recently we purchased new 2007 Camry LE and wondering if somebody could clarify for me how alarm system works on that model.
Based on the manual, if lock button on remote key is pressed, all doors are locked and "Security" indicator starts flashing. If in this situation any door is opened, alarm should go off. Toyota Canada confirmed that behavior.
However, as I didn't observe that, local dealer explained to me that alarm is installed only at XLE trim and I shouldn't expect hear horn at LE.
Can LE owners confirm what do they have with their vehicles ?
