2017 Camry SE 32K Torque Codes
Hello, Just bought this 2017 with 29,000 in February 2020. Check Engine light with the following codes. Car appears to dive ok and no RPM issues. One driver reported a hesitation when accelerating from a stop but I was unable to confirm.
Service Engine light was reset about 100 miles ago
P0741 Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid Circuit Performance Or Stuck Off
P0730 Gear Incorrect Ratio
I have some experience working on cars but this is very new to me. I'm no one to just start replacing parts but I don't know where to start diagnosing this and currently don't know where these components are located or where to start.
Please, any overview and instructions on how to start diagnosing, Please.
Thank you!!

The issue could be an electric solenoid valve inside the transmission. This solenoid controls the torque converter clutch lock up. This issue can cause hesitation. The solenoid can be accessed by removing the trans fluid pan.
If you are trying to DIY, you will need repair info on the trans. Its not a hard job but need some info to know what solenoid is which and how to refill the trans pan with the correct amount of fluid.
See link below for more info and other possible causes of this code.

If you fix the P0741 problem the other code may go away.

The drivers side door has a sticker giving the cars spec information. On this sticker there should be listed the transmission model number such as U760E. If you search the internet on this trans model you should find websites listing parts for the trans and having photos or diagrams of the trans valve body and solenoid locations. Youtube may even have videos of how to change the valve.
