Default 92 Toyota Camry

Hey there

I'm considering buying an used 1992 Toyota Camry LE V6 with automatic transmission. The car has 170'000miles on it. The owner says that the only thing which isn't working is the motor of one of the power windows in the back.

Are there any known issues with those cars in general? Something in particular I should look for?
And how much would it be to fix that window motor?

Because I might go today and look at the car.

Thanks, seems to be a great forum which you have here

Determine the engine model. If a 3VZ-FE this engine was used for only a few years. You can still get parts but it was not nearly as common as a 1MZ-FE.

The window motor is around $60 if you shop around. A shop might charge more for the part plus of course labor, maybe an hour if they know what they are doing.

The issues of this generation of Camry are well known. If your still interested in the car send a private message with email address and will reply with a list of what to look for.
