Where is a fuel filter on a 96 2.2L located and how hard is it to change.

 

You must remove the tank and disassemble the fuel pump. Then you'll find the fuel filter. It's pretty easy to change.

I called the toyota dealership to see how much to have them change it since it involes removing the tank and I live in a apartment. They told me that they are lifetime filters that its just a screen. I replaced my PVC valve today maybe that will help with my MPG since it looked like the stock one from 218,000 miles ago. lol. thanks
