Smile Any good deals with SAE OW-20 5-quart motor oil?

I always like to have a 5-quart container of SAE OW-20 motor oil in my trunk.

Have been looking around for a good deal.

1) So far, the lowest I've seen is Walmart's Super Tech brand at $20.38 (https://www.walmart.com/ip/Super-Tec...arts/254038905).

2) Walmart also has Quaker State at $21.48 (https://www.walmart.com/ip/Quaker-St...Quart/36250522).

Is there a good deal out there that I'm missing?

I think those deals at Walmart are pretty good.
From my experience, they have always been the cheapest.

Do you mean like buying from a Mobile gas station?

Buy Mobil oil where you want. This is a mail in or online rebate.

Guess what, guys?

I was all set to get Super Tech because the customer reviews seem to be great. However, when I tried to order on Walmart.com, I found out that the $20.38 price only applies if you make orders totaling $35.00. If you don't, the same container costs like $28.00. And this also applies if you buy from a store directly.

So if I want it from Walmart, I have to figure out what else to buy to total $35.00. I guess I could buy two 5-quart containers. But I don't like to have oil sitting around for a very long time since it took forever to use up the last container.

Bummer. Gotta think what to do.

Team up with a friend who also wants oil. There may not be a requirement to buy the same oil type.

I drove to my local Walmart yesterday. When I got there I found out that the Super Tech was sold out. By the way, it was selling for about $20.00, not the $28.00 I was told by the walmart.com telephone customer service person.

I therefore ended up buying Mobile which is what I previously had. It sold for $24.47.

Below is a photo showing the previous 5-quart container I had (on the left) and the one I bought yesterday. I cannot tell what the difference is.

High mileage supposed to have a higher base viscosity to prevent leaks. The viscosity is just below the next level versus assume typical oil viscosity being somewhere in between levels.

Some high mileage oil have more detergents to clean out sludge.
