Default Bad motor mount???

I hwve a 1995 Camry Le 4 cyl.I can feel a bump when I accelerate from a stop. The dogbone on top of the motor was was busted and i replaced that. But the motor still bumps a bit. With the brakes held, a slight mash on the gas and the motor still rises a good bit. Is this an indication the front mount is bad? Or is this normal movement for the mount?

The motor mounts do go bad thus not uncommon. The front one is hydraulic, use a flashlight to watch its action when giving the engine throttle. The rear is a bushing type.

The engine can shake a little at idle which is normal but a rocking engine is not normal.

Have worked on the same model/year of Camry. When the engine was gunned it barely moved.

The rear mount has a press in bushing, you can buy just the bushing or the complete mount.

The front mount is not repairable.

Suggest looking at mail order parts from sites such as www.rockauto.com to save $$ over the dealer.

If you need repair info, try the autozone website at www.autozone.com

I have never see anyone mention that the rear mount has a bushing that can be purchased as a replacement vs. buying a new mount.

Does anyone know of a bushing and add to this discussion?
