Default Bad Wheel Bearing???

87 toyota camry, 206k miles.

There is a humming sound coming from my front end. It makes sound when I'm going straight or turning left, but not when turning right. I jacked it up and there is no apparent play in the wheels. There is a little more spinning resistance on the right wheel than the left, but not much; both wheels spin pretty freely. The tires look good.

I had a bad left cv joint that was clicking. I replaced it and the clicking went away, but not the humming.

Whadya think? Wheel bearing? Right side? 180$ decision....

You could wait until the noise gets louder to fine tune the location, the bearing is very stout.

When driving move the steering wheel left and right to sway chassis and shift the cars weight left and right thus loading and unloading the wheel bearings. Determine if the noise now varies. The bad bearing will make more noise when more loaded and less when less loaded.

Also check tires.
