Was wondering if a 2nd generation 4cyl auto trans wagon can be lifted to gain about 1 1/2-2 inches of ground clearance. I can understand the geometry of the front axle might be off too far and moving everything down would cost more than worth. any thoughts. anyone been there done that just planning ahead

 

There are spacers that go between the upper strut mount and frame that will raise the chassis. If they are available for Camry, don't know. Or know the effect of these on geometry or driving the car.
