Default Can't find switch for trunk light

I have a 2004 Camry LE, 4D, and the trunk light doesn't come on any more. The bulb is good. Using a schematic, I traced the problem to the switch that connects one side to ground when the trunk lid is open. However, I can't physically locate the darn switch. Toyota is very good at hiding things that aren't attractive. I'm hoping someone has found it and can tell me how to replace it. Thanks.

Suggest looking in the trunk lock motor opener area on the trunk lid.

There is no trunk lock motor, and I looked all over the trunk lid. Thanks.

Then look in the area of the trunk lock installed on the trunk lid.
