Gen 4 Fuell Filter
^typo
Anyone know where the fuel filter is on the gen 4 camry. Going through a full tune up right now and just called it a day. Took a quick look before I packed my tools but didn't see it.
Thanks

Look around the area below the master brake cylinder for a can that looks like the one in the photo at the link below:

If the engine is running OK, no loss of power it may not need changing. Rarely does the filter need changing. This stated because the fuel line fittings can be VERY difficult to loosen!!!

I got it done yesterday first thing. Indeed it was practically under the master cylinder. I also removed the air box to get to it easier and and yes the fuel line fittings were a pain. Mostly the bottom one because its hard to turn a wrench under it. The car had lost some power, this is why I decided to do a full tune, so I figured the fuel filter was a good precaution. I did find two ripped vac lines and my air temp sensor hanging out by the fuel filter so bet that was causing some of my power loss and loss of gas millage.
