How many V6's with manual trans out there?
Hey all- Just wondering how many Camry's out there with the 3.0L V6 and 5sp. manual? I'm always looking, but seems like they all have automatics. Just curious.

Anyone have a '97-2001 Camry with the 3.0L V6 and 5 sp trans? I stumbled onto mine on accident on a car lot. They were having trouble selling it because they said everyone wants an automatic in a Camry. It ran great so I bought it for $3900 with 160k on odometer. I had previously looked for a V6 Camry with a manual to replace my wifes '98 4cyl auto. What can I say, I like to shift! I've always had stick shifts , not to say it is unpleasant to drive an auto, especially if eating while you drive. I gave up on finding a V6 stick shift for a few years, then found one at a Subaru dealership when I wanted to trade out of my '06 subaru Baja Turbo into a car with no payments. I was going through radiation treatments at the time so was not working and wanted the best/dependable car I could find for $4000 or less. There was the Camry. I didn't even test drive any other car, just drove it and bought it.
Theres got to be other members who have one, or may know how many with that cobination were made in '97 - '01. Thanks in advance for any replies.
