Sorry for the extra threads. I'm new to this online forum thing and am unsure as to what is acceptable so please excuse me if this is not allowed. I just purchased a 2001 Camry with the 4cyl engine and am hoping someone can tell me what the oil capicity is for that engine. Thanks.

 

3.8 quarts with filter change, 3.6 without.

 

ALso...what weight oil would be best to use. I've read a few articles saying 0W-30 or 5W-30. Thanks again.

 

Depends on outside air temps. 5W-30 is fine unless the temps are extremely cold.
