Question question about the camry se

hello

im interested in purchasing a camry. specifically im looking at the SE version.

something concerns me though. it may seem trivial, but according to the toyota website, the SE version does NOT have a 60/40 folding rear seat.

is this accurate? does the rear seat not fold down at all?

is this true of prior model years as well?

thanks for replies

I don't have an SE but my friend do, ,and the rear seats really fold. I haven't heard any about the issue.

To the OP, I just replied to your question under the "New Member Area".

If you're talking about the current gen, 07+, the rear seats of the SE do not fold down. This is because of the unique suspension of the SE, whereby added stabilizers have been installed. There is a center pass-through, however.

This is also true of the current gen XLE models WITH reclining rear seats.
