Short Shifter

Ok I have a 2005 Camry 2.4and I would like to know if a Scion tc short shifter would work with my car. I think it should work because it is almost the same car.

I know the engine is the same but, I can't say that i'm sure about the transmission. Also, the interiors are very different so it may not fit well inside the car but, may work mechanically.
