Default Smoking at random times

I have a 2007 Camry and at random times it’ll smoke which smells strongly like raw gas.. It started with the car originally stuttering when starting and would run rough for a seccond then clear out which went on for about 1 week in which i assumed was a fuel pressure regulator or either the fuel pump in which i ordered the fuel pressure regulator and while it was being shipped it started smoking but not all the time. One morning i would start it and it would be a pretty big cloud and i would drive it to work and it would be gone when i would get to work and after work (10 hours) it wouldn’t smoke when cranking it up, then i would drive 20 min to my grand parents, no smoke when getting there, when i went to leave no smoke when cranking, once i arrived to the store no smoke, when i went to leave the store it smoked pretty bad like it did in the morning, and when i got home it was smoking a little but not a lot. Yesterday i cranked it up and it didn’t smoke but i let it sit for about 2 hours after that and cranked it and it smoked. I’ve checked all fluids and there all where they should be, no nothing in the oil and coolant is where it should be. All i can hear is like a “pshh” sound which sounds to be coming from the fuel pump from the tank or possibly a vent line? Anything will help or suggestions! Thanks!

Does the car start normally, as in NOT needing to crank and crank before starting this perhaps due to low fuel pressure?

Could be an injector leaking fuel into the cylinder.

Worn out valve stem seals can cause oil smoke on start up. This would be oil smoke not gas fumes.

Sorry man i’m just now seeing this but yes i’ll go to crank it and it’ll somewhat start meaning it’ll try and idle but struggles for about 6 seconds then idles up and sometimes dies in the process

Keep the fuel cap lose then determine what effect this has.
