I have a 1999 CE with 200,000 miles on it, with the original struts. As you can imagine, the struts are worn out. Not too bad, they just knock a bit over bumps and aren’t near as smooth as those with less miles on them. Does anybody know who makes the OEM struts? They are very expensive to buy at the dealer, but may be available on eBay. Problem is, I don’t know which ones would be stock.
Conversely, has anybody put aftermarket struts on their Camry and if so, how did they compare to OEM? I just want the smooth ride the stocks ones had, as I’m not to keen on the “sportier” struts which sacrifice comfort for performance.

got with tokico....or kyb u can find them on eaby...its cost less than 400 shipped...btw i think u should replace the new front strut mount too....

 

hey ummm... by any chance is that camry WHiTE?.. cuz i use to have a 99 camry with almost 200K miles on it ..and the shocks were knocking already... just wondering?... prolly a longshot..it's been quite a while.
