Are These Two Camry's Compatible?
Hi Everyone,
Someone ran into me and totaled my "1999 Toyota Camry CE/C (White)" a few weeks back.
I just purchased a "1995 Toyota Camry XLE (Green)".
My question is, will the engine and transmission from the "1999 Toyota Camry CE/C (White)" fit into the "1995 Toyota Camry XLE (Green)"?
If it does I think I might keep it for parts...
Thanks Everyone!

The cars are two different Generations, as such body parts and other components are different.
Are these both 4 cylinder engines. If so, the engine and trans will fit as the same models. However the 1999 engine has improvements not compatible with the 1995 systems that would be still on the 95 car. This will require using engine parts from the 1995 to make the 99 work.
If the 99 is a V6 and the 95 a 4-cylinder, the engine and trans will fit but require a LOT of work to make it work.
