Hi all,
My first port here, appreciate your help. I've got a 95 Camry, 4 cyl, AT. The tranny shifts through all the gears like your foot is barly on the pedal, at the minimum RPM. Completely kills any acceleration and will not shift down with foot on floor. I checked the kick down cable adj, its good and appears to be working. No vacuum input to be found, so I assume the controls are all electronic. I can shift it manually and it goes fine, no slips etc... Any thoughts on possible solutions? Thanks,

is the engine light on.. it may be the transmission solenoids but, usually the cel comes on.

 

No light. It comes on for the self check so I suspect it works. No codes either.

 

I assume you have no grinding noise etc. i would have a tranny shop check it out. it could be the cable. or it could be a computer issue. but, have it checked out before it gets worse.
