The are MANY types of trans fluids and coolants. You don't need to use a Toyota brand product but you do NEED to use an equivalent product.

The owners manual lists the Toyota brand trans fluid and coolant. The trans dipstick also has the Toyota trans fluid number stamped on it. You need to use these items or equivalent products.

Competent auto parts store employees should be able to tell what he equivalent products are. The fluid container will also state this information. For coolants the verbiage may state for use in Asian cars, Toyota cars, etc.

I did my water pump a while ago and I used Zerex Asian Vehicle fluid. I got this from NAPA and it was the 'pink' fluid. It is working great so far and I have exposed the car to some extremely cold temps this winter. I played it safe and looked for the Asian vehicle coolant. You do not need Toyota brand coolant. Like toyomoho said, the equivalent.

Look on the trans dipstick for the fluid type, then find the equivalent. Toyota has used many types of trans fluid over the years.

Cycleboy1200cc, what are the specifics of your Camry, like year, engine, tranny, etc? I am planning on doing a tranny fluid change in my 07's manual 5 speed with Amsoil GL-4 as I have heard great results.

Hey Patonium, I have a 2007 SE , Its the 2.4 with auto trans.
My girlfriend commented one day soon after getting the car that it was so smooth between shifts you could hardly notice . I cant get over how much power this four cylinder has. One thing i noticed though, is when i take off from a dead stop a little hard the steering wheel pulls slightly to the right for a sec. Is this normal?

I agree with Joey, torque steer. Very common on most FWD cars.
