Should I go for a chambered muffler, straight through muffler, or glass pack? Will keep the resonator to avoid lawn mower style sound. Looking at magna flow stuff. Just want to know which of the muffler types won’t sound like trash^. Again, I have a 4 cyl camry and want to replace the stock muffler with a chambered, straight through, or glass pack. I know it won’t sound as good as a muscle or sport car, but I really want a deeper throatier sound that’s not obnoxious like a lawn mower kind. My friend says glass pack but I’m not sure which will sound the best

 

I recently bought a 2012 SE. 10 years later it still feels like the perfect blend of form and function; for anyone looking to buy, I would highly recommend the 4 cylinder. It’s a pleasure filling up once every 450 miles in a vehicle that does everything it should, easily.

It would depend on the sound your looking for. I have a 2011 camry le that had a broken muffler. The stock muffler is a chambered muffler. A straight through muffler sounds good at idle but will sound really loud at the rear of your car while accelerating. If you want something that will sound really good, I would suggest either going with the glasspack.
