I need help my car will start and idle when you hit the gas it dies. But when I hook up a scanner it says my immobilizer system and that's it. But you look up everything online it says the car wouldn't be starting at all if it was that

What is the code number?

The car should not start if the immobilizer is active.

Will the engine continue to idle if the pedal is not depressed?
