Water has been leaking into my trunk in my 1994 Camry. I fixed the antenna drain tube but it still leaks from around the antenna mount. I am looking to replace the OEM telescoping antenna with one of a fixed length, maybe one of those short ones. Has anyone changed their OEM antenna with an aftermarket type? Which one did you use and was the install easy?

 

Have you tried putting a thin o-ring around the mount where it meets the chassis or using sealant?
