need help with camry fuel pump quit working.replaced pump have 48 psi at fuel spark but no injector pulse for fuel.replaced crankshaft will not start.checked all fuses and relays.could this be a cam sensor or ecu issue with the transitors bad to fire injector? this engine was came from japan as a 2.0 direct replacement for this year.

2.0? The 98 has a 2.2L.

What type of fuel system does the new engine have, MAF or MAP sensor?

The injectors are controlled by the engine computer, each injector has its own electrical circuit. Are you sure the injectors are getting power?

If the engine has spark the cam/crank sensor should be working.

found fuse blown for injectors.the camshaft sensor was the one replaced not the crankshaft sensor. only got 70 on a compression check.think maybe need at least 90. found bad cut in cam shaft sensor on old sensor and new one is already damaged so i am guessing camshaft wobbled into sensor shorting out fuse and taking pump out. yes it is a 2.0 made to fit the 2.2 manifold.these were made in japan for a replacement engine for some reason.
