Hi All!!! i'm very new to this forum and i want to say hi to all the members here! well my dad's car is a 2000 camry he just got in a car accident and the front bumper was totally broken... so i was searching on Craigslist and found a 1997 front bumper for sale at a very good deal. But the problem is the seller said that he think it might not fit the 2000 camry. OK so here are my questions, Do you think the 1997 bumper would fit on my 2000? also if it doesn't fit is there any possible modification/cutting to make it fit? hope to hear from you all soon!!! thank you!

 

Your best bet is to search the internet for bumpers and read the years it fits. Would not try to modify a bumper to fit. The mounting holes may not be the same, etc.

Just to inform you that 1997 bumber cover has different mounting holes than 2000.
And it is not difficult to search for a bumber for 2000. just google it up dear.
