Default 2007 Toyota Camry SE

Trying to upgrade the performance of my Camry. Need suggestions on intakes, exhaust systems, head light and tail light housings, and suspension. I live in California so sadly it needs to be California legal. Any help would be great full.

California requires only parts that effect emissions to be certified by CARB. Check into cold air intakes and CAT back exhaust systems which are typically OK. The state has a website that explained what parts needed to be certified.

Suspension changes should be no problem.

Head and taillights need to be DOT approved but your local police may have something to say perhaps not from a legal aspect but from a we don't like this aspect.

Suggest just changing the headlight bulb or installing a HID system. If going the HID route buy a quality product as the cheaper ones tend to flicker.

For taillights there are a host of options just make sure it is DOT approved. You could install LED's in the stock fixture.
