Hi. Thanks for any help. I have a 2015 Camry and will be driving along and all of a sudden the park brake light comes on and the car slows down. I can only go about 15 miles an hour. After a few hours it seems to reset. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks

 

Check owners manual. The park brake light may also be connected to the brake fluid reservoir level switch. If the fluid is too low or a bad switch the light could come on.

Any other dash warning lights coming on besides brake?

Assume the car has manual E-Brake and not the newer electric style, yes/no?

The car may be going into "limp home" mode via the computer sensing something is seriously wrong and limping home is safer then normal MPH's.

Might be an ABS issue, wiring/plug or ign coil, Could be temperature related.

Might try reading any codes via the OBD port. Some codes don't turn on the check light. Make sure to check for both generic and Toyota specific codes plus any pending codes. If possible do this when the car is limping home. Some codes will reset if the problem fixes itself.
