Default 600+hp

I just got a 97 Camry with 335k miles on it
I think? Well I've got 1500.00, I want 600hp!
So I'm going with two stage 250 shot nitrous shots!!
Looking for one good pass on the track!

Ok only kidding.
I did just however sell my beast of a truck that
Got about ten miles to the gallon, and picked up
A Camry, but I still have the need for speed, I thought
Buying an automatic Camry would eliminate that,
But no such luck!
So I'm just going to browse the forum, need a door handle first!

Welcome to the forum! And yes, you are pretty funny! I have seen enough of those "I want super car speed with my Ford Escort and I've got $100" posts!
I hear you about taming that desire for better speed. It never goes away though and we look for every little bit of performance that we can get. I know I am always looking for that little bit of extra oomph.

Yea, I guess I was making fun of myself probably 10 years ago,
When I had no money but wanted to out run
Small block cars in my 4 door sohc neon
I'm sure I'll upgrade my performance in the Camry , but not sure
If my tranny will hold it....so I may pass. But I am going to
Do a full tear down put all new bottom and top end gaskets. I've got a quart a week
Motor oil leak.

Ouch, a quart a week, that must be getting expensive.
I too remember myself 10 years ago and having those same thoughts!

Yes, it's a little expensive, however worth the 20.00 a month in oil, seeing how I eliminated a monthly car payment and paid for this Camry with the left over cash, and getting 30mpg guessing, I've 10mpg. I've saved lots of money, goal here for me is to get out of debt AGAIN , lol

You sure are going to be busy! That is good though to make your car nice again. I always like to step back and admire the work I've put in on something. I also hear you about debt, the wife and I are working to rid ourselves of some payments.
Keep us posted with your projects and feel free to post a 'how to' if you feel like and think someone else might be encountering the same thing.
