I have a 99 camry and it doesn't have the remote. I'm try to figure out what kind of a remote will suitable for that. It's dash switch is also broken. But i couldn't find the replacement for that ether. Its not the normal dash switch. There are 4 wires coming to that switch. That switch panel has just that switch, nothing else. Does anyone know where I can find that switch and the correct remote.
And also I found this thing on my passenger side dashboard top. Anybody what this is? (i attached the picture)

 

Is this an aftermarket add on someone did before you or factory? If factory, you should be able to pick one up on ebay or something like that. If the remote is aftermarket then you will have to find out what brand it is and get their remote or a compatible one. Could you take a pic of this dash switch? I'm not quite sure I know what you are talking about.

 

I have no idea weather its an after market one or original one. I got couple of documents about the TDS system. I attached them and the pictures of the dash switch.

Yep i already bought the key and its on the way. But I'm wondering how I'm gonna fix that dash button.

 

I think that button is just a light that blinks when armed to deter thieves when they look in the car. Do you know the model number or the DTS? I would think your paperwork would tell you something. Then maybe look for images online of the set up or what comes in the kit. Manufacturer probably sells replacement parts as well. Is there a website?

 

Nope unfortunately I couldn't find anything about that TDS. not even the model #. I'm trying to dig in to my dashboard and find out the module.

 

I hate to say it, but I think that is your best bet to figuring it out.

I don't know if you figured out what the orange globe is or not. It is the sensor to turn your headlights on and off. On my 2000 if I hold my hand over that my headlights come on.
