Battery Confusion
(2010 Camry LE 4 cylinder) A few days ago my car wouldn’t start up I assumed it was a dead battery. I called my dad to come jump my car off and it crunk right up. I got home thinking I needed to see if it would cut on again after I turned the car off. No, it was dead so the next day I bought a battery. I thought that had to be it, right? Nope. My dad said it was the alternator. I bought a new one and everything and she seems to run fine yet the battery light won’t go out am I missing something? Also might help to mention since we’ve replaced them my window buttons for the passengers on my drivers door are flashing

Check the wiring to alternator plus the following fuses:
10 amp Gauge 1
7.5A Gauge 2
7.5A ALT-S
100A ALT
Use a volt meter to check voltage at the battery terminals when the engine is operating at around 2000 rpm. Should be 13.5-15 volts.
The window light flashing may mean the window control needs re-initializing. The owners manual should have something on this procedure. If not its on the internet for Camry.
