Default Camry Hybrid LE vs Camry SE

Hi,

Looking to choose between a Camry SE (non-hybrid, 4 cyl) and a Camry LE Hybrid. The cost of the LE hybrid is 32k (including a dealer's markup of 3.5k) and the SE is 29.5k (MSRP: with convenience package + blind spot monitor + accessory appearance package). The only difference I can find is the fuel economy but with the increased cost I calculated it would take 7-8 years for my hybrid to break even with its markup.
We drive only around 8k miles per year but live in CA and our driving is mostly on highways. I definitely like the look of an SE more than an LE.
Anyone offer their thoughts? Are there any advantages of a hybrid apart from fuel economy? Is it worth spending more for a hybrid for an additional fuel savings? My other concern is once the supply chain eases up, the hybrid will drop in value and will have a smaller resale value.
