Default Can an inside Camry door material be repaired?

Hello and thank you for your help in the past.
What with the sun and also my (now deceased) little dog who used to love looking out the passenger side window using is nails to stay perched, the top of the door material is somewhat shredded.
As you will know, it's a soft-ish grey material and needs some repairing if possible.

Might there be a solution that can possibly be painted on that can smooth that top part and keep it from deteriorating further and to make it look better? I won't be getting another dog.
This is maybe an odd question but there may be a possible solution.
Thank you.

If you have a picture I might have a better idea of where the damage is and the material.
Ultimately, replacing the panel is ideal and will look the best.

Thank you for your reply.
It might need a full replacement if I want to do that (just had the transmission etc. replaced) but here are a couple of pictures if you might know of any solution to paste on and cover (?). it's a 1995 LE wagon and just the passenger door.
I did stick some gray duct tape over that area long before this kind of breakdown occurred but my dog kept slipping off the ledge then and couldn't look out of the window-took it off. Duct tape was NOT a great idea and residue is still there years later.

I also wondered if there is somewhere I can send for grey screw covers on two of my doors (third picture below). Covers missing from mechanic repairs over a number of years and not noticed right away. Thank you.

Youtube has lots of videos on vinyl repair.

There are also kits having materials one can mix to get the right color one needs. Try Amazon.

OK thank you toyomoho, will look into it.
Got the transmission changed out. It hasn't stopped the vibrating when at a light but great power and smooth shifting now. All the mounts were good and didn't need replacing despite what the one very costly estimate gave.

They found the oil leak too (that my regular mechanic didn't find on three occasions) which was the oil pump. No drips now!

Had the timing belt replaced and other things.
Can't imagine what's causing the rough idling but that aside, i'm happy the work is done and done well
Your help was appreciated. Thank you.

i am trying to locate the interior color (as in the picture above) to order the spray paint material.

Inside my drivers side door I believe the paint color is located with this : FQ17 but I can't locate a color IF that's the code that I need to use. It might be gray, light gray, ash or possibly oak.
Thank you very much for any help.

You may be able to find reference to the original trim specs such as interior and exterior colors. The exterior colors have a code to allow reference to matching the paint. Not sure if the interior colors have a spec beside something vague such as white, beige, etc. Can get color charts and try to match the color such at the link below:

What is the idle speed? The lower the idle speed the more the engine will shake.

Thank you for the tips and help.
I checked several Toyota interior color charts and mine could be one of three.. Ash, Sage or Dark Gray. I emailed a local Toyota dealer with the question of the codes on the drivers door, and proper color.

The car does idle rough, actually a little rougher now the new transmission is in - more power perhaps? Quieter and smoother in park or neutral as mentioned.

Below is a picture of the idle speed I just took.

I found an old post on here about the same issue and it was suggested to clean the Engine Cooling Temperature Sensor or replace it. If it is replaced I wonder if anything needs re-setting??
No answer was given on whether it helped but it looks like a bad one could certainly contribute to rough idling.

Idle speed is a little high. Normal idle speed is around 750 RPM in park engine warm.

You sure there are no air leaks in the intake system?

So grateful for your help toyomoho!
My daughter and I spent some time again looking for air leaks and found none.

I'd like to add a picture of the engine showing the wrapped (with electrical tape) air intake tube which was a little shredded when I checked it a few weeks ago for leaks but after wrapping it it made no difference in smoothing out the engine- hence I haven't purchased a new one yet.

If I can ask: are you able to determine from the three red-circled pictures here what the loose rubber piece I found just now hanging below the brake fluid reservoir area with one side attached somewhere under there is, and where it attaches and if it is in any way connected to the rough idling? Maybe it's not important.
All three pictures are of the same part- just difficult to photograph down there as the hose is short but the part is pulled up to be able to take the pictures.

Lastly (sorry) here's a picture of part of the air intake system, the hose which shows a hole in it. Should there be a stopper over it, is that where air could be escaping or is it normal to have the open hole?
Thank you very much.
