I recently purchased a 2018 Camry, I paired my phone to the car. I can receive and make telephone calls, however I can not receive text messages. I followed the instructions in the owners manual without any luck on text messaging. I have a Galaxy S5 cell phone. Any thoughts or ideas is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

 

Congrats on your new car. I have a 2018 Camry XSE. Ive done the phone thing through the car, but not the texting. I just use the phone by itself when texting. Someone should chime in with some info. Have you tried Toyotanation.com? They can help you there too. Welcome to the forum.

 

When all else fails and the car is still under warranty, try the dealer.
