my 1999 dash lites do not light up? the dimmer does nothing, im thinking its the dimmer, any thoughts?

 

Does the glove box light work?

None of the dash lights work such as: radio, climate system, auto trans shift indicator light on center console, ash tray?

 

bro i'm having the same issues as you, so far i have checked all my fuses and relays. all good I think its a ground issues with this camry's.i'm taking my cluster out this weekend and will find out whats wrong with it. take a power probe and see if your getting 12v in just about every fuses and relay. i did and its good but them lights. hope this help you a little on narrowing it down

just talked to the previous owner, she thinks the problem started after her butcher boyfriend installed an after market stereo, maybe it is a bad ground

Just took the radio out, checked all connections. All i found is a blown fuse in the fuse box under dash? 7.5amp who knows why ill keep an eye on it. now to the check engine light problem. heard it the charcoal canister, cant wait

 

some mickey mouse unit trying to get the factory unit back

yes, dimmer is fine also a couple of bulbs were out. Went to Toyota at 5bucks a bulb and now everything is lit up. Now im on to bigger and better things, eng ligt is on, was told charcoal canister and the a/f sensor is bad. sounds like fun!
