New to the fourm!! I bought my 2005 Camry in April 2017 in Jacksonville FL, and at the time of sale, the salesperson kept saying "O, thats Don Johnson's Camry." then another employee who stuck his head in said "O, cool, you sold Don Johnson's Camry". At this point I begin to think "AM I BUYING SONNY CROCKETS CAMRY?!?!?!". The sales person responds with "No, Don Johnson works in the service dept." I felt much like George Costanza when he thought he had bought Jon Voight's La Barron........

I did not let this deter me. From that point on my '05 Camry was to be called Don Johnson. came into my possession with 175K miles. I got a seasonal job in Boise, ID and took off from the dealership with my fingers crossed and all my possessions in the backseat/truck.

5 trips back and forth cross the country and Don is purring like an oversized steel kitten. Currently at 236K miles. Put a new alternator myself in last weekend. Looking for other preventive maintenance I can do myself?

I also made stickers. Keep your eyes peeled in 28 different states for the tiny stickers....We live in Idaho full time and do not intend on getting rid of Donny boy any time soon!
