Default Greeting from Shigang

Hi all,

Recently I bought an used 2007 Camry SE, 81000 miles from a dealer. The car has only one owner before and maintenance record is good. No accident report. The dealer has replaced some small parts and the car looks and drives well.

I realize that 2007 Camry has some problems like oil consumption issue. I wonder for me, what I should be careful to. I do not drive a lot, no more than 5000 miles per year.

Thanks!

Welcome to the forums!
If you have the four cylinder 2AZ-FE engine then you could face oil consumption issues. Just watch your oil level for heavy consumption. It might be hard to tell though because you drive under 5000 miles per year.

How can I know whether my engine is 2AZ-FE then? I only find it is 2.4L L4 DOHC 16V. Thank you!
