Hello all, are they're any UK members trying to restore 4th gen (96-01) camry?, I took it off the road as exhaust failure, quoted £800, sourced one now but wanted to do proper restore. I thought I would start with springs/shocks as they are tired and soft (and common noise from front turret bush) - it's not so easy to find parts I've found, unless sourced from USA ebay, the 200,000 mile engine is fine but leaks from camshaft, bottom one door rusty, front valance is messy etc etc. Had it 10 years now and everything still works - thought about a donor car but not sure yet - anyway anyone who has tips / tricks would be appreciated.

 

What failed on the exhaust?

 

Holes, found one now but not yet fitted, it's an aftermarket version, hope it's not too loud , do u have a Camry ?
