My name is Savio from the DC Metro area. I don't actually have a Camry but my g/f has a 1998 Camry that needs some work and that's why I'm here to give and get answers from all of you helpful people on Camry Forums!

 

I have done some pretty extensive repairs on my own 95 LE 4cyl, but it's a gen3, and she has a gen4... do you know what the major issues are that will need to addressed first, and/or how badly it was abused (if at all)? I knew nothing about cars until I bought my Camry a couple of years ago, and have since replaced the alternator, radiator, driver side door handles (inside and out), trunk lid (from a 94 with different lights) spark plugs and wires, numerous bulbs and fuses, a couple of hoses, and I even had to jimmy open the driver side door which was stuck after the previous owner wrecked it for the 6th time. If I can help, I will- I may need the karma later!
