So I can use my hand to open the throttle instead of putting a brick on the gas pedal with the key on right?

Can use your hand or the bricks. Be gentle if by hand as the throttle plate is geared to the motor.

Wellsir ... the weather got warm enough today so I could clean the throttle body and the mass air flow sensor. Hate working out in the cold. Anyway ... got it cleaned and it is idling fine now. Thanks
