Hi gang: I have a 99 Camry LE (my first Toyota ever) that I picked up locally for my daughter to use for college. The car has 185,000 on it with recent work done (timing belt, seals, tune, etc.). The car was stolen 3 days after we bought it and remained missing for two months. Cops found it and now it is back but in the interim I got my daughter another car for school. So my Toyota is an "extra" car. The radio was missing and the windshield cracked. Both are in the process of being replaced. The car is a strong runner and I got 24.5 MPG last week driving a mix of city and highway with the A/C on constantly. Anybody need a good car?

 

wow sorry about what happened. I'm under the impression that the car is now for sale? (just curious)

 

Hi Boogz: Now that I have gone through it and replaced the radio with a modern CD player (Mp3's WMA's Etc.}, brand new windhield, new wheel covers and had everything inspected, yes, I will be selling the car. Mechanically, it is fine and the oil was just changed. It had a new timing belt and new Dunlop tires last May about three weeks before I bought it. The struts are recent but I can't pinpoint the date. When the timing belt was changed, so was the water pump and main seal. The interior is excellent and the body is very nice but there is a minor scrape on the passenger's side rear that is not readily noticeable. The front bumper cover has a scrape from the cop's tow truck but that is going to be repainted this coming week. I can post some pictures of it if anyone would like. I am in Texas also.
