Did a oil change, transmission fluid exchange and a coolant exchange. Put new rotors and brake pads on the front. Next is new struts in the front. Over here it runs great, sometimes the transmission shifts hard into 2nd gear. Not sure why, I was thinking of maybe cleaning the throttle linkage as it is very dirty.

I was told that the clear coat is peeling, and to fix it you need to strip the paint off the effected areas. Was quoted about $2,000.00. Not going to worry about it right now.

 

Make sure the transmission fluid is not too low or too high. Check when fluid is hot, engine running at idle and after moving the gear lever slowly from Park to Low and back again.

The throttle linkage runs to the cruise control box. Take the box cover off and take look as to how it works.

 

I'd hate to get in the care everyday wondering when 'today is finally the day'...
