Default New to me 2003 Camry Le

I just picked up a 2003 Camry LE (4 cylinder)the other day. Not my first Camry as my daughter had a 2008 Camry several a few years ago.

Shes white with 180K but in very good condition. Unfortunately, had to let a family member drive it for a week while there car is in the shop.So it will be a week or 2 before I can fully go over the car.

I already plan to do a tuneup as soon as I get her home. I like to do things to cars myself to make them unique to my tastes. At some point in the next 3- 6 months will be blacking out the front grill , rear emblems/Trim, and replacing the cloudy headlights.

It didnt come with a FOB to unlock the doors and in looking online i see them on ebay for $20 for 2 and they say its easy to self program. Is this true as I dont want to waste $20 and then still have to carry car to dealership and from past experience with other cars most dealerships refuse to program FOBs you didnt purchase from them.

Thanks in advance

Make sure the car had factory remote door locks as some cars did not.

Ok dumb question in 5,4,3,2,1 .... How do I see if it had the option or not ? Will I have to contact dealership or is there something in the car I can look at ?

What kind of FOB is this? A key FOB as in having a key and FOB or a just a device with buttons?
