Default New to Toyotas here...

Morning all!
I'm a recent transplant to Toyotas coming from the world of Jeeps and before that, minitrucks. I turned 40 this year and found myself valuing MPG more than ground clearance and 4WD. I ended up with an 04 silver Camry LE, 4 banger automatic with 80,000 miles for about $8600 plus the tags, tax etc..this thing looks damn near new inside and out. It runs amazing and I look forward to seeing the gas pump WAY less than my Jeep with 13mpg average..

I currently do retail sales at a local Home Improvement store. Prior to this I spent 15 years in automotive work in one sort or another, from Autosound and security, to upholstery, to pinstripes and graphics. I have no problem turning wrenches on my own gear, I just don't do much engine or transmission internals.

Welcome to CF.

You can get help on those areas you need here.

If doing your own work might pickup a Haynes service manual (about $20).

Kinda weird, driven a 110 miles, and still haven't used more than a 1/4 tank of gas lol
