Default tail lights not flashing

my tail/brake lights wont blink or flash. 3rd brake light works fine no problem there. replaced bulbs, one of them was burnt and looked black (rear driver side) now all lights work. checked fuses and all are in working condition. when i turn on the running lights all lights work even tail/brake lights but wont blink or flash when i press on the brake. could this be a faulty tail light switch? I read some where that if your third brake light works then its not the brake/tail light switch.

I suppose you should go to a mechanic and get the car checked.

Year of car?

Third light is connected to the brake pedal system.

Do the lower brake lights and tail lights work?

What happens when you use the emergency flashers, do the front blinker lights work?
