Toyota Camry + Android Auto Support
Hi guys, new to this forum and looking for some suggestion. So, I am planning to get a new Toyota Camry soon, but now in confusion whether to go ahead with the car or not. I knew that it did not have Android Auto support but only Apple CarPlay, but now the news is that the new Toyota cars may get Android Auto Support Soon. Now I am trying to figure out if I would be able to get Android Auto Support if I book and take the delivery of the Camry before it is officially released? Can be retro fitted just in case Toyota thinks of not supporting the older models even 2018 one's during the roll out? Any help regarding this would be of great help.

It appears this is for 2019 and will not be available retro to 2018. See last paragraph of article in link below. Note verbiage referencing 2018 Camry not retro.
