Default Transmision?

Hello. I have a Toyota 2014 hybrid and when I press the pedal to the end the car does not go. If I release the pedal a little then it slowly starts to pick up speed. Mostly folks have a problem on the road.

Thanks.

I am not up to speed on the hybrid transmission which is different from the gasoline model. Suggest you ask at the Toyotanation.com forum in the Camry hybrid section.

If the RPM is increasing but the MPH is not suspect there is a trans issue. Recommend not using more pedal then needed to prevent the kind of slipping as shown in your video.

In the mean time suggest you have a Toyota dealer or a trans shop knowledgeable on this kind of transmission check it out. The longer the slipping is allowed to occur, the more possible damage to the transmission.
