What is the year of the car and engine type; V6 or 4-cylinder?

P0401 is insufficient exhaust flow for the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system.

This engine model does not have an EGR system.

Suggest rechecking the code to determine if it was P0401 or something else.

Does happen installing an intake can cause codes.

Check for loose or disconnected hoses, clamps, etc.

What brand and model intake?

If the trouble code was not cleared by a scanner, it may take a few days for the computer to run its systems tests and reset.

Give it a few days and if possible recheck the trouble code number.
