why im parting out the brand new rebuilt motor?
-i had the engine rebuilt and assembled last year by this machine shop, forgot the name of it but i still have the receipt somewhere.
-had the shop assembled the main component and i assembled the rest.
-everything was driving normal for the first couple of days until i start to see smoke and i wasnt sure why. first thot was a blown HG but it wasnt, it was the walve seal.
-the main reason why im selling it because of either the bad rebuilt or bad seals. either ways, the machine shop wants another 200 to replace all the valve seals, parts and labor. ~100bucks for another HG to put it back. thats close to 300 w/o tax.
-w/o a hassle, i found a cheap low milage 5SFE locally and dropped it in and didnt have to wait. these components are sitting on a my engine stand right now.
