With winter coming on, I'm going to be installing a remote starter. The unit arrived last week so I'm ready to rock. I've been through the instructions, and this isn't my first rodeo with installing remote starters.

I was just wondering if anyone has any helpful tips specifically for the Camry before I get going on this. Just like to arm myself ahead of time for any "surprises..."

 

Is this the All Trac? If so, it should be straight forward.

One issue run into for anti-theft reasons is the engine may shut off if the brake or other items are moved. This to require the key be installed. But you might be able to work around this if no threat of someone stealing the car as it warms up (this has happened).
