Perhaps TP was too close to the top at Toyota where managers sang "Everything is Beautiful."
Yet, many, many Toyota owners were complaining about poor quality and poor customer support from Toyota Corp and dealers.
The uncommanded throttle issue could be hot air. Congress tends to pick a whipping boy and Toyota was in the spot light.
Yet Toyota has been alienating its customers for a number of years as it pressed to be number 1 in sales.
No surprises as Toyota stumbled, this happens all to often to corporations who place profit over everything else.
